Our most versatile nuc box.
This flatpack nuc is lightweight, economical, and easy to assemble. Despite the lightweight appearance, quality UV resistant corflute gives this thing a surprising amount of durability. It's very useful to have a few of these on hand in swarm season. In an unassembled condition they are very easy to store and they can be folded together in a manner of minutes. The best corflute nuc out there.
Some of our staff use these nucs frequently and have found them suitable for overwintering. During summer they work well if they're out of direct sunlight.

Not a long-term solution, but basic, light, and re
16 May 2018Perhaps it is just me, but 1-2 minutes to assemble seems an exaggeration - took me a fair while longer, but not too difficult. It is simple and light-weight, with a clever design and does hold together fine just folded (although reinforcing with some staples is suggested and I feel almost mandatory for any real-world use).These will not last forever, but it is just coreflute so you get what is described.If you want something heavy duty that will last 'forever' get a proper wood nuc, if you want a relatively inexpensive, easy to transport, and light-weight alternative (great to keep flat in the car in case you need to hold a swarm) then these certainly tick a lot of boxes.
