Use with Eyelets

Eyelets can be fitted into the drilled holes of timber end bars before the wire is threaded.

They provide a smoother metal contact point and help protect the timber from the tension of the wire.

Once the wire has been pulled tight, a crimper can add further tension where required.

Support Beeswax Foundation

The primary role of frame wire is to support natural beeswax foundation.

Once the sheet has been positioned, the wire can be embedded into the wax to hold it within the frame.
