Beginner Beehive Kits

If you want to start keeping bees but don't know where to start, you've come to the right place. All of our staff are beekeepers, so if you have any questions about your hive setup, please drop us a line and we'll have a chat. 

Our starter kits come with live bees. We usually supply live bees from the middle of spring through to late summer. If you place an order for a starter kit, you can elect to pick up your gear with the bees, or before. We will contact you with about a week's notice when your package bees are ready to be picked up. Please note that bees are a natural product and we cannot guarantee, or know, exactly when they will be available. 

If you have never shaken out a package of bees, do not fear! We love showing beginner beekeepers the ropes, and we will demonstrate for you in-store when you pick up your bees.
