Escape board helps at the time of honey extraction. Slip escape board between 2-Boxes and allow 24 Hours. Well 80% of the bees will go down to brood/super box. In cold weather, leave board on the hive for 48-Hours. It makes your life heaps easier at the time of extraction because you have to deal with a lot lesser bees.
